KNVB have come out and given clean chit to ADO Den Haag and Heerenveen of any wrong doing in allegations against match fixing

The decision was reached after having analyzed every possible information that the association had at its disposal.

Both clubs were accused of match fixing against Skenderbeu Korce and Standard Liege.  ADO won their match 2-0 while the Frisians won theirs by a scoreline of 4-0.

This is what KNVB director Gijs de Jong said, "That's the most important lesson we have to get out of this business,"

"Our advice to the clubs is: know who you're doing business with, particularly given the developments of the last few years, know who is organizing the competition, make sure that the union of the country in which you play the game, the referee appointed and the opponent are beyond any discussion For any question or doubt, clubs always contact us."

The UEFA though are still looking into the files.
