Benfica beats Rio Ave and won the League Cup in Portugal
Lisbon's team reaches the second title this season and is still in the chase for two

Benfica won the second title of the season beating Rio Ave 2-0, on Sunday at the Dr. Magalhaes Pessoa Stadium in Leiria. With this result, Benfica won the League Cup for the fifth time in seven editions of the tournament.

Team from capital is also the current holder of the Portuguese title and is fighting for the Cup of Portugal and the Europa League.

After 41 minutes the first time, the Hispano-Brazilian Rodrigo opened the scoring. The captain Brazuca Luisão completed the triumph, during the second stage.

Interestingly, Rio Ave will be the opponent of Benfica in the final of the Cup of Portugal. The final is scheduled for May 18 at the National Stadium in Oeiras Jamor.
