Ozil debut could be delayed
Mesut Ozil's Arsenal debut could be put on hold after the midfielder missed training

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to make a late decision on the £ 42.5 million signing from Real Madrid, with an already long injury list to contend with.

The German international was set to start against Sunderland due to Tomas Rosicky picking up an injury on international duty, with Abou Diaby, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski also on the sidelines.

Ozil was presented as an Arsenal player during Thursday's pre-match press conference and he spoke on his delight at making the move to the Emirates, believing that the Gunners can make a push for the Premier League title this season.

"It feels great to be here," said Ozil. "It is really great. I feel very good here and it is great to be part of this team. The city is very nice. I feel very well at this team, the boss is great and I am sure he will improve me. I am proud to be a part of this team.

"I am really looking forward to this task. I have only heard good things. This is a very successful club, with young players who can develop very well here and that is one of the reasons I wanted to come here.

"Of course [we can challenge for the Premier League title]. I know the team, I know that the talent we have here and I think every player wants to be successful. It will be difficult because this is the strongest league in the world but we will give everything. "
