Suarez: I'm ready for El Clasico
Suarez was suspended for four months because he was bitten the Italian Giorgio Chiellini at match from the World Cup. However, the Uruguayan striker will soon have the right to participate

The clash of the titans on October 25th, between Barcelona and Real Madrid is more commonly known as El Clasico. This game features two of football's most powerful and prominent sides - in the present and past. It's just chance that these two Spanish sides also have arguably the largest rivalry - leading to tense, rowdy and magical games, where the atmosphere is like no other.

Barcelona's £ 70 million summer signing, Luis Suarez, has declared himself 'ready' for this match. Following his four month ban for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini in the FIFA World Cup 2014, Suarez will be allowed to make his official debut for the Catalan club in the El Clasico.

After coming back from Uruguay's friendly matches on international duty, Suarez has already found form - netting two goals for the South American team. However, the striker stated his lack of match action has not affected his fitness or adaptation to his new teammates:

"Before these games with Uruguay and was not able to play, but now I feel really good physically, better than I had expected. I'm 100% ready.

Adapting to Barca is not a problem. I just want to get out on the pitch and have fun. I'm at a club I always wanted to be at, I'll try to do the same in front of goal that I did with Liverpool - to do what the coach asks and score important goals. "

Suarez also spoke after receiving the golden shoe award for 2013/14, Which he shares with Cristiano Ronaldo.

"On a personal level it is always welcome to get awards like this but you do not get anywhere without one's teams' effort every day."

The controversial striker has already shown his brilliant ability. However, even with the likes of Neymar and Lionel Messi, Barcelona will find it tough to battle out the force of Real Madrid.

The El Clasico. 25th October 2014, 5:00 pm BST. Do not miss it.
