Arsene Wenger is said to be monitoring two players from Ligue 1 side Lille as he looks to be ready to use a large amount of his transfer funds to secure new signings ahead of next season, TalkSPORT reports.
The Gunners are believed to be prepared to sign a 24-year-old Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye from the French club in hopes of strengthening their squad to battle for the Premier League title next season.
The midfielder who is valued at £ 5.7m has been playing with Lille his entire career and was part of the set-up that won the French League and Cup double back in the 2010/2011 season.
The Arsenal boss is also rumored to be looking at Gueye's Belgium born team-mate Divock Origi who he is also keen on bringing over to London.
The 19-year-old striker has scored five goals for his side in as little as 12 starts this season while Wenger is quite hopeful on the potentials of the £ 12m rated prospect.
Origi who is actually from Kenya, has already represented Belgium at junior levels but is currently gathering interest from the Kenyan national team to represent them on the senior level instead.
